1. The service
Estori generates personalized illustrated storybooks using artificial intelligence, based on a photo you provide and choices you make in the app. The service is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], established in [JURISDICTION].
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use Estori only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes and only with photos you have the right to use. You will not upload photos of people who have not consented to their likeness being used to generate an illustrated character, and you will not use the service to generate content that violates our content rules (no sexual content, no graphic violence, no hateful or harassing content, no content targeting real individuals without their consent).
3. AI-generated content
The stories and illustrations are generated by AI within age-aware guardrails. They are creative interpretations, not facts. Estori does not guarantee that any specific output will be produced or that outputs will be free from errors.
4. Photo license
You grant Estori a limited, revocable license to use the photo you upload solely for the purpose of generating the illustrated character that appears in your book. The original photo is discarded after the character is generated. We do not use your photos to train public AI models.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Unused stories do not roll over.
6. Print orders and refunds
Hardcover keepsakes are printed on demand. Because each book is personalized, print orders are generally non-refundable once production has begun. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, contact us at hello@estori.ai within 14 days and we will replace it. 7. Ownership of generated books
You own the personalized book you create for personal, non-commercial use. Estori retains ownership of the underlying templates, models, art direction, software, and brand.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Estori and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notification, and your continued use of Estori after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
