How we handle your child's photo and your family's data

The photo is used once, then deleted
When you add your child, you upload one photo. We use it a single time to draw their illustrated character, and then we delete it. The photo is never written to our database or storage. What we keep is the drawing, which becomes their character in every story.
What we do keep
- Your email address, to sign you in.
- The characters you create: the drawing plus the name, age, and description you typed.
- The stories you generate: text and illustrations.
- If you order a printed book: the shipping address you enter.
estori is for parents, not for kids to use alone
Accounts belong to adults. A parent or gift-giver creates the stories and controls the account; we don't offer accounts to children. Stories are written with safeguards to keep them age-appropriate, and you can read every story before sharing or printing it.
No ads. No selling your data.
There is no advertising in estori and we never sell your personal data. Our database and storage are hosted in the European Union. You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it, any time, at support@estori.ai.
