1. Who we are
Estori (“we”, “us”) is a personalized children's storybook service. The service is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], established in [JURISDICTION]. You can reach us anytime at hello@estori.ai.
2. What we collect and why
- Email address. Used to create your account, send your books, and (if you opt in) the newsletter.
- A child's photo. Used once to generate the illustrated character that appears in your book, and then discarded. It is never used to train public AI models, never sold, and never shared with third parties.
- Basic usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and PostHog to understand how the site is used. These providers may set cookies on your device.
- Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details on our servers.
3. Children's privacy
Estori is intended for parents and other adults to create books for the children in their lives. Accounts are for adults only. We design with COPPA (US) and GDPR-K (EU/UK) principles in mind and do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. 4. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — including any uploaded photos — by emailing hello@estori.ai. If you're in the EU/UK, you can also manage cookie and analytics consent through the consent banner on the site.
5. Email and newsletters
We use a third-party email service provider to send newsletters and transactional emails about your books. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notification.
